Does cropping reduce image quality?
No — the download exports your crop at the original pixel resolution. For example, if your 4000×3000 image has a 2000×2000 crop selected, the downloaded file is exactly 2000×2000 pixels. The canvas view is only for previewing at a smaller size.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image never leaves your device and is never transmitted anywhere — it's as private as opening the file in a desktop app.
Can I use this on mobile?
