Do guests need an app to scan a WiFi QR code?

No. iPhones (iOS 11+) and Android phones (Android 10+) can scan QR codes directly from the default camera app. No third-party app is needed.

Does the QR code expire?

No. SimpleTool generates static QR codes that never expire. However, if you change your WiFi password you will need to generate a new code.

Is my WiFi password stored on a server?

No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser. Your network name and password never leave your device.
